Die! Die! Die! Twitching Sunshine

Hailing from Dunedin New Zealanders Die! Die! Die! have been tearing the ass out of the art punk sonic explosion building a more then glowing reputation for their raw white knuckled atitude and breathless live shows.

Twitching Sunshine fully captures the bands energy, starting off with walls of feed back before swan diving into heart pounding beats and thumping bass line that smacks you in the face with the hay fire guitars that feel really appropriate for a band on Small Town America Recordings. At the heart of of Twitching Sunshine is an undeniable passionate rage, delivered with the frosty sense of Nihilism of punk rock from its most avant guard tendencies that is no less then thrilling.

I also get the sense that is a band that does not fear certain elements of being outspoken and that their video for this song offers a shrewd outsider look at the history of the Black Panther movement in the US. It very much feels like as if they are not afraid to pass comment on such histories that might get people talking. either way this is a great song full of exciting punch. This is The title track from their up coming album due out later this month.

About bigjeffbristol

I am someone from Bristol in England who is deeply obsessed with live music! its pretty much like an OCD styled obsession that means pretty much every night I am out. I like being down the fron for shows, because then I can feel the music pulsing through me and I am not going to lie to you, I like to dance a lot. Which can make me at times incredibly annoying because of being 6ft4 tall with blonde curly locks so I am the Thoroughly Annoying Blonde!. and I like to preach my geeky musical inertia to people!
